Rolling Stone calls his music 'a good time romp' raucous blues with high-energy soloing, mixtures of careening slide and razor-edged bursts, all delivered with unflagging enthusiasm and wit." Bishop first hit the national scene in 1965 with The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, introducing electric Chicago blues to the rock audience. He later scored big in 1975 with "Fooled Around And Fell In Love," which reached number three on the pop charts. Today, he continues to tour and release new music, mixing thick blues grooves with timeless rock flavors and homespun wisdom.

Local Artist Series: Misty Blues Band

2019 International Blues Challenge finalist, Misty Blues, is fronted by lead singer/band founder Gina Coleman. The band is based out of Berkshire County, Massachusetts playing original and traditional blues with hints of jazz, soul, funk and tent revival gospel since 1999. The band has recorded with Eric Gales, Charles Neville and Joe Louis Walker, and opened for contemporary blues artists like Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, Tab Benoit, James Montgomery, John Primer, Roomful Of Blues, Albert Cummings and Shemekia Copeland. Misty Blues performs extensively throughout New England and has toured the continental U.S., Canada and the UK. The band has been nominated for a few Independent Blues Music Awards and their original recordings have broad international airplay. In 2024 the band had a song they released selected for use in a U.S. Presidential campaign ad.

Benny Green

Benny Green was born in New York City in 1963 and grew up in Berkeley, California. His father, who played the tenor saxophone, introduced him to Jazz at an early age through his record collection that included Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles and many founding voices of the music. He began piano lessons at the age of 7, and his first paid performance was at the age of 12. Oscar Peterson named Benny as his protégé in 1992 and chose Benny as the recipient of the Glenn Gould Award for excellence in Music and Communication. In 1998 Oscar Peterson invited Benny to record a two-piano album with him, entitled "Oscar and Benny." Benny will be performing piano solo!

From the Seacoast of NH and ME, they have performed sold-out shows all over New England. They have an ever changing setlist where you can hear music from blues legends like Howlin' Wolf and B.B. King, to Motown stars like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, and modern day artists such as Eric Gales, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Joanne Shaw Taylor. As a band, we're known for raising money for non-profits that we believe in. To date, we've raised over $177,000 for organizations in our community, and our goal is to bring that number to $250,000!

Nate Smith is a Grammy Award winning drummer, composer, producer, and bandleader from Norfolk, Virginia, widely regarded as one of the most in-demand musicians of his generation. He first gained major attention at age 20 performing at New York's Blue Note with Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead program. Early in his career, he worked as a songwriter and producer on Michael Jackson's 'Heaven Can Wait,' and joined the Dave Holland Group in 2003, touring internationally. As a leader with KINFOLK, Smith earned Grammy nominations for KINFOLK: Postcards from Everywhere (2017), including Best Instrumental Composition and Arrangement. His collaborations span Brittany Howard, Jon Batiste, Norah Jones, Childish Gambino, Pat Metheny, and Lalah Hathaway.
